All Treatments Which Treatment? The Consultation Contraindications FAQ
The approach

Skin treatments done properly start with understanding what your skin actually needs.

No treatment here is chosen from a standard menu. Before anything is applied, there is a proper skin consultation — looking at your skin type, your concerns, what products you're using, your lifestyle, and what stage your skin is at.

Some skin needs a gradual approach. Some people need one specific treatment done well rather than several done lightly. That conversation happens before anything else.

The treatments available — peels, microneedling, LED, dermaplaning and bespoke facials — are all used as part of a considered process, not as standalone quick fixes. If something isn't right for your skin at this point, I will tell you that honestly.

Skin treatments

What's available.

Chemical peel treatment

Chemical Peels

from £55
Resurfacing

A chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the outer layers and encourage new cell turnover. Different peel strengths and acids (glycolic, lactic, salicylic) are chosen based on your skin type and what it needs. Commonly used to help improve the appearance of skin texture, tone and clarity over a course of treatments.

Best for: Dullness, uneven tone, congestion, fine lines, pigmentation and rough texture.

Microneedling treatment

Microneedling

from £80
Collagen Induction

Fine needles create controlled micro-injuries in the skin to trigger the body's natural repair response and may support collagen production. Commonly used to help improve the appearance of skin texture, scarring and firmness. A numbing cream is applied before treatment. Redness and sensitivity for 24–48 hours afterwards is normal.

Best for: Acne scarring, fine lines, general skin quality improvement, enlarged pores and skin laxity.

LED light therapy treatment

LED Light Therapy

from £40
Non-Invasive

Different wavelengths of light penetrate the skin to target specific concerns. Red light supports collagen production and skin repair; blue light targets acne-causing bacteria. Completely pain-free and non-invasive. Often used as part of a treatment course or alongside other therapies for enhanced results.

Best for: Active acne, post-treatment recovery, redness, sensitivity and collagen support.

Dermaplaning facial treatment

Dermaplaning

from £45
Exfoliation

A sterile surgical blade is used to gently exfoliate the surface of the skin and remove fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). Leaves skin noticeably smoother and more even immediately. Makeup sits better and skincare products absorb more effectively afterwards. No downtime required.

Best for: Dull skin, smooth skin texture, improving makeup application and enhancing product absorption.

Bespoke facial treatment

Bespoke Facial

from £55
Tailored

A fully tailored facial combining cleansing, exfoliation, extractions where needed, massage and mask — chosen and adapted around your skin on the day. No set menu. The products and techniques used depend on what your skin needs at that specific appointment.

Best for: General skin maintenance, first-time facial clients, or those wanting a thorough treatment without a specific skin concern.

Concern — Dullness

Chemical Peel or Dermaplaning

Both remove the outer layer of dead skin to improve clarity and brightness. A peel targets deeper concerns; dermaplaning gives an immediate smooth result with no downtime.

Concern — Acne & Congestion

Salicylic Peel or LED (Blue)

Salicylic acid peels work inside the pore to clear congestion. Blue LED targets the bacteria that cause active breakouts. Often used together across a treatment course.

Concern — Scarring

Microneedling

May support collagen remodelling to help improve the appearance of acne scars over a course of 3–6 sessions. Results are gradual and cumulative.

Concern — Fine Lines

Microneedling or Chemical Peel

Microneedling may support collagen production over a course of sessions; a peel may help improve the appearance of skin texture and tone more immediately. Both are suitable for clients concerned with early fine lines depending on skin type.

Concern — Dehydration

Bespoke Facial

A bespoke facial addresses surface and deeper dehydration with the right products chosen for your skin on the day. A good starting point, and often the most immediately comfortable option.

Concern — Maintenance

Regular Bespoke Facials

For skin that's in good condition but needs consistent care, regular bespoke facials every 4–6 weeks keep it clean, balanced and well-maintained without over-treating it.

Before you book

The consultation
comes first.

No skin treatment here starts without a proper conversation about your skin. This is not a quick tick-box — it's a real look at what you're working with and what will actually help.

Book a Consultation
01

Skin consultation

We look at your skin type, concerns, lifestyle, current products and treatment history. Honest advice is given about what is and isn't suitable for your skin right now.

02

Treatment plan

Based on the consultation, a treatment or sequence of treatments is recommended. Some concerns respond best to a single treatment; others to a course of 4–6 sessions.

03

The appointment

Treatments are carried out carefully and without rushing. You are talked through what is happening and what to expect in terms of sensation and results.

04

Aftercare advice

Clear aftercare instructions are given after every treatment. What to avoid, what to use, and when to come back — all explained before you leave.

Important to know

Contraindications.

Active skin conditions

Skin treatments are not carried out over active eczema, psoriasis, rosacea flare-ups, open wounds, cold sores or any active infection in the treatment area. If you are experiencing a flare-up, please rearrange your appointment.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding

Most chemical peels and microneedling treatments are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Gentle bespoke facials may be suitable — please get in touch to discuss before booking.

Recent cosmetic procedures

If you have had recent Botox, filler, laser or other cosmetic treatments, a waiting period is usually required before skin treatments can be carried out. Please mention this during your consultation.

Medications & medical conditions

Certain medications (including Roaccutane, blood thinners and topical retinoids) and conditions (including diabetes or autoimmune conditions) may affect whether a treatment is suitable for you. Always disclose your full medical history at consultation.

If you are unsure whether a treatment is suitable for you, please get in touch before booking. It is always better to ask than to arrive and find out a treatment cannot go ahead.
Questions

Frequently asked.

A consultation is the best way to work this out. Different skin types and concerns respond differently to different treatments, and what works well for one person may not be appropriate for another. The consultation is part of every booking — nothing is chosen without that conversation first.
It depends on your skin and your concern. Some people see a noticeable difference after one session; most concerns respond best to a course of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart. A realistic timescale will be discussed at your consultation based on what you're hoping to achieve.
It varies by treatment. Dermaplaning and LED have no downtime — you can go straight back to your day. Chemical peels may cause some redness and light flaking for 3–5 days depending on strength. Microneedling typically causes redness and sensitivity for 24–48 hours. Aftercare instructions are always given in full before you leave.
Yes, in many cases — but the treatment needs to be chosen carefully. Sensitive skin requires a more cautious approach, lower strengths and a longer gap between sessions. This is something that will be assessed during your consultation so the right option can be recommended.
Arrive with clean skin and no makeup where possible. Avoid using retinoids or strong active products for 48–72 hours before your appointment. For microneedling and peels, avoid sun exposure and tanning in the week prior. You will be given specific pre-care advice when you book.
Keep it simple in the days following any treatment — a gentle cleanser, a good moisturiser and SPF. Avoid actives (retinol, AHAs, BHAs) for at least a week after peels or microneedling. Full aftercare instructions are given at every appointment and written guidance is provided where needed.
In some cases, yes — though certain skin treatments should not be carried out at the same time as lash or brow work due to sensitivity. This is something to mention when booking. In general, it is better to have skin treatments and eye-area treatments on separate days.
