Not when they're applied and removed properly. Each extension is bonded to a single natural lash, never clumped or over-weighted, so your own lashes keep growing and shedding as normal. Damage usually comes from bad application or picking sets off yourself — not from wearing extensions.
It comes down to how much depth you want and what your natural lashes can hold. Classic is one extension per lash for a soft, natural finish. Hybrid mixes classic and volume for texture without heaviness. Volume uses multiple fine extensions per lash for a fuller look. This gets talked through properly at your consultation.
Around two hours for a full set, sometimes a little longer depending on density and style. It's worth building that into your day rather than rushing straight back out.
Every 2–3 weeks. Leaving it longer means more natural lash growth to work around, which affects how neat the set looks.
You really don't need to — that's the point of them. If you do want to, an oil-free formula and gentle removal are essential, but most clients stop wearing mascara altogether.
Steam, oil-based products and rubbing your eyes. Let the bond set properly and the set will last much better.
